Our first Environmental awareness event in February had to be rescheduled for March thanks to the wonderful rain of the past weeks.

At the request of Monaghan, with the assistance of Jonathan Leeming, we did however host an event on their site and simply braved the constant drizzle. Despite the weather the turnout was good, and the interesting talk and beautiful views made up for any discomfort. The CRR does border Monaghan and they too boast Egoli Granite Grasslands and are working hard to conserve this valuable resource.
