Feathers, Flight & Bird Calls
Grab your binoculars and bring your best birdcalls — the Wild Crew is heading out to meet the feathered friends of the Crocodile River Reserve!
🦜 From tiny flitters to big swoopers, we’ll listen, spot, and learn how birds build nests, find food, and raise their chicks. We’ll chat about bird calls, migration, and why every little beak matters in the ecosystem.
🎒 Expect bird-spotting games, fun facts, nest-building experiments, and lots of time to explore.
To fit this all into our fun-filled outing we will be starting at 8h30 and finishing at 13h00. It will al be happening at The Sheds, Gemstone Road (off the R511), Crocodile River Reserve. A snack pack will be provided to keep the hunger at bay. The cost is R90 per child. If your child is 6 or older you are welcome to drop them off or stay to enjoy the morning with us. Children under six must please be accompanied by a parent.
