DESCRIPTION:The Wild Crew @ The Sheds: Geology \nGive your child the chance to explore the fascinating world beneath their feet at the Crocodile River Reserve. \nOn Saturday the 13th of June on the Eastern side of the Reserve from 8h30 to 12h00 young explorers will embark on an exciting journey to discover how rocks are formed and the amazing processes of the Earth. They will learn all about the different types of rocks found in the Reserve’s natural landscape on our Nature Walk and through fun\, hands-on activities like creating a scientific rock collection and making cookies that represent the rock cycle. \nThe Sheds\, Gemstone Road (off the R511)\, Crocodile River Reserve\nSaturday 13th June 2026\n08h30 to 12h00\nBring hats\, water bottles\, and a wild spirit. \nThis outing blends education\, outdoor exploration\, and creativity — perfect for curious minds who love nature and science. Children will leave with new knowledge\, a collection of their own\, and a tasty treat that makes geology deliciously fun! \nWe would like to thank our current sponsors and encourage others to consider sponsoring a child that may not otherwise be able to attend our School Programme events.
