They will learn all about the different types of rocks found in the Reserve’s natural landscape on our Nature Walk and through fun\, hands-on activities like creating a scientific rock collection and making cookies that represent the rock cycle. \nThis outing blends education\, outdoor exploration\, and creativity — perfect for curious minds who love nature and science. Children will leave with new knowledge\, a collection of their own\, and a tasty treat that makes geology deliciously fun! \n15 Riverside Estate\, Jukskeidrif Road\, Lanseria\nSunday 7th June 2026\n08h30 to 12h00\nBring hats\, water bottles\, and a wild spirit. \nA snack pack will be provided to keep the hunger at bay. The cost is R90 per child. If your child is 6 or older you are welcome to drop them off or stay to enjoy the morning with us. At this Wild Crew outing we will be taking the children into the veld to see what we can harvest directly from Nature.
