The Wild Crew @ Riverside Estate: Seeds
Little thought is given to the humble seed and its importance environmentally or in our daily lives, but what would the planet look like if we didn’t have seeds? Would any life be possible without them?
This may sound like a mundane thing to learn about but at the CRR Wild Crew outings anything can be turned into fun – and by the end you will understand just why Seeds are our quiet little heroes!
The morning includes:
- A Nature Walk to collect seeds
- Dissection and microscope exploration (see the hidden details inside!)
- Hands-on experiments and planting
- Creating a seed bomb to take home

Bring hats, water bottles, and a wild spirit.
A snack pack will be provided to keep the hunger at bay. The cost is R90 per child. If your child is 6 or older you are welcome to drop them off or stay to enjoy the morning with us. Children under six must please be accompanied by a parent.
