Day by day, plants and wildlife species and open spaces are disappearing

If you want to become part of a passionate community of people who are determined to transform the future of Egoli’s Grasslands, then you have come to the right place!

From donations and sponsorship, to volunteering your time, every bit helps the Crocodile River Reserve to conserve, protect and restore one of the last remaining habitats of endemic grasslands in Gauteng.

Choose How You Do Your Part

As an NGO, the Grassland Stewardship Alliance is dependent on funding from our community, strategic partners and individuals.

Your sharing will go towards conserving this natural heritage for all. Once-off, monthly or annual donations are welcome.

The Crocodile River Reserve is the last remains of a wide area where nature can be enjoyed, people can become agents of conservation, protect our biodiversity, enjoy birdwatching, walk in protected paths, ride mountain bicycles, and learn about our biodiversity from qualified experts… in other words become a Friend.

Browse our Friends of the Reserve page to read more about how you can get involved.

By supporting the Crocodile River Reserve as part of your corporate social responsibility, not only will your B-BBEE scorecard look good but your brand will be front and center of a target audience of loyal outdoor enthusiasts, who care as much as you do about the environment.

Want to know more about sponsoring us? Click on the button below and start a conversation with us.

Show your support by joining an Event at the Reserve, like Ride the Rhenoster or one of our our Walks and Talks, and your entrance fee will go towards the Reserve maintenance fund. This is used for programmes such as the removal of alien invasive plant species or other causes to preserve our threatened species. Join the movement!
