What’s Happening

The Crocodile River Reserve hosts a number of events each year to educate visitors on the rich biodiversity of this protected area

The Crocodile River Reserve is home to a myriad of flora and fauna, many of which are listed as “threatened” or “vulnerable”. On the doorstep of Johannesburg and Tshwane, you can experience a wide variety of natural and cultural heritage, and by regularly supporting our Walks and Talks you are contributing to conserving this jewel!

Some Happy Supporters

We are always excited to hear from those that attend our walks and talks. See what they have to say here

In Memory of Howard Bichard

Our Snare Walk programme is dedicated to the memory of Howard Bichard. Howard bravely fought fires as our Fire Chief, no matter what time of day or night, and led the Snare Walks for the Crocodile River Reserve that ensured the safety of the Community and the wildlife. He is sorely missed and our snare walk volunteers will always be walking in his footsteps.
