Magnificent natural and diverse area that is under pressure from encroaching development both formal and informal. Thousands Of unemployed hungry people are s.tripping .this environment bare, in an effort to survive. Will the crocodile river reserve survive this onslaught?

A wonderful place to get away from city life! Close enough, but far enough;)

In Memory of Howard Bichard

Our Snare Walk programme is dedicated to the memory of Howard Bichard. Howard bravely fought fires as our Fire Chief, no matter what time of day or night, and led the Snare Walks for the Crocodile River Reserve that ensured the safety of the Community and the wildlife. He is sorely missed and our snare walk volunteers will always be walking in his footsteps.
