The CRR Integrated Management Plan (IMP) is the 5 year strategic plan required by NEM:PAA – reviewed on an annual basis– that the Grassland Stewardship Alliance has developed for ensuring that the environment and the biodiversity elements of the Crocodile River Reserve are protected, conserved and their strength furthered.
Like all strategic planning documents, the CRR IMP starts with the overall values of the CRR and a comprehensive description and graphics of the current state. This forms the baseline of the plan. It is therefore detailed and long.
The CRR IMP has undergone a public process whereby interested parties were asked to comment and provide input. Those comments have been incorporated into the IMP, and we thank all who took the time to add value to the document.
The CRR IMP has been submitted to the GDARD: Biodiversity Stewardship Unit for verification by their scientific team and thereafter, it will make its journey through the GDARD Departmental Heads and finally to the MEC for approval and signature.
The CRR IMP is a living document, and all are invited to continually improve it with their comments and inputs. Please please click here in order to write your comments and submit them to the GSA.
